Radio and television presenter Lerato Kganyago’s husband Thami Ndlala is facing closure of two of his businesses namely the Ndlala Mall and hotel apartments located in the city of Tshwane.
According to the executive mayor of Tshwane Dr Nasiphi Moya, both properties owe the city millions of rands in outstanding electricity and water bills.
“In December, we disconnected electricity at Thami Nolala Mall and Hotel Apartments. They owed the city over R600,000. We were back today because they illegally reconnected without settlement of the account. In addition, this property owes over R1 million for water”, shared Moya on X

Not only did the executive mayor disconnect power and water at the Ndlala Mall but also at an accommodation facility called Ndlala Dynasty.
“We’ve disconnected electricity at another property owned by Thami Ndlala - Ndlala Dynasty - an accommodation facility in the Pretoria CBD. The property owes the R2.3 million for electricity”, further stated the Moya
Social media users are shocked that Thami Ndlala is in so much debt and when not too long ago he was spoiling his wife Lerato with extravagant gifts, international trips and going as far as booking the FNB stadium just for the two of the to have a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner while being serenaded live by Zonke and her band.
No arrests have been made thus far. This is a developing story.
