South African musician Shebeshxt/Shebe Maburna, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke has once again been denied bail by the Polokwane Magistrates court.

The 30 year old Lekompo artist who was arrested last month l from an alleged road-rage incident that occurred in October. Chauke is facing three counts of attempted murder, negligent discharge of a firearm, robbery with aggravating circumstances, two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and possession of an unlicensed firearm.

The state argued that some of the crimes he’s accused of committing he committed while on bail. They further argued that should he be released again, he will continue to commit serious crimes as his behaviour show he has no regard for the law.

He will spend Christmas and New Year in jail as his case has been postponed to 18 February 2026.
