Rice with Broccoli

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1/4 Onion 
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 250 gr. broccoli
  • 100 gr. of cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chicken stock

Preparation:

Heat oil in a pan over medium flame. When the oil is hot, pour the lightly beaten eggs. Cook until the eggs are scrambled.

Turn the flame to low, use a spatula to push the eggs to a side and add garlic. Not mixing with the egg, saute the garlic until aromatic and very lightly brown.

Add broccoli with a pinch of salt. Mixing with the rest of the ingredients in the pan (e.g eggs & garlic), cook the broccoli florets over medium flame until they turned bright green, especially the stalk section.

Add mixed vegetables and rice and stir to combine. Saute the mixture for a minute over high heat.

Then turn the flame to low, add soy sauce and sweet soy sauce. Stir again to combine all ingredients. Turn the flame to high again, cook the fried rice another 20 second. Serve immediately.
