What If Success Looked More Like You? | Redefining Success, Adhd & Self-Leadership
Olerato
What if some of the things you have been striving for are rooted in expectations you never stopped to question? In this episode, I introduce a new chapter of Living Content as we move from audio into video. This transition represents more than a change in format. It is part of making room for deeper conversations, greater connection and a more intentional exploration of what it means to build a life that feels true to who we are.I also share a little more about my personal journey with ADHD, including the chronic burnout that eventually led to my diagnosis at a wellness centre about a year ago. For much of my life, I had been navigating experiences I didn't fully understand. Receiving a diagnosis gave me language to begin making sense of myself, my patterns and the ways I had been moving through the world. It also made me reconsider what it means to understand and lead myself. We often associate self-leadership with the ability to lead others. Yet, before we can meaningfully lead anything or anyone else, there is work to be done in understanding ourselves. Our needs, our capacity, our boundaries, our values and the stories we have come to believe about who we should be.In this conversation, I explore:
Maybe the question is not whether you are doing enough, achieving enough or becoming enough. Maybe it is whether the life you are building is one you actually want to experience.A few questions to carry with you:What is the life that feels most true and honest to you? What would happen if you shifted your definition of success to reflect that life? And what needs to change today to begin moving in that direction?Welcome to the next chapter of Living Content. I'm glad you're here.About Living Content PodcastLiving Content, hosted by Lerato Sekanka, explores self-understanding, personal growth, faith, identity and self-leadership.
