A woman by the name of Ursula Dlamini has come forward to break her silence on the abuse she allegedly suffered years ago while dating now popular DJ Oscar Mbo.

In a social media post she shared how recent gender based violence incidents circulating on social media trigger her own trauma. She goes on to say that she is speaking out now for herself, her children and her husband in an effort to regain her strength and confidence as a victim of GBV.

South Africa has one of the highest statistics of gender based violence, a crisis that has now been deemed a national crisis by President Cyril Ramaphosa.

It is not clear yet if the victim will be filing charges against her alleged abuser Oscar. Oscar has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
