Mahola revealed that a film about her life is in the works and will be led by an Oscar-winning South African director. Although the news about the film is exciting, she did not want to delve deeper into the more details such as release dates and cast members names. Zolani is currently gearing up for the release of her new album "People Power", which she describes as a statement about the strength of individual and collective voices. The album is produced by Grammy-nominated female producer Hanna Vee. The singer is also collaborating with Grammy-winning musician Zakes Bantwini on a song titled "Where You Are".
