Radio personality and musician Unathi Nkayi has returned to music. The singer has released her new song "Isikhwele" which features kwaito legend Professor and rising star Meez. "Isikhwele" is a soulful love song with Afro-Pop elements and a touch of Kwaito by Professor and Amapiano by rising artist Meez. Unathi describes the single as a love letter to Soweto, paying homage to the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Soweto Uprisings and South Africa's fashion couture. "I'm really proud of how I've grown and evolved creatively, especially in a time where everything moves so fast with technology and the fourth industrial revolution", she said in a statement Isikhwele comes nearly three years after Unathi's last single "Ndiyazithanda Mna". Unathi further explained that she had not been a great space to create following the passing of her father. She wanted to focus on her children and take time to regulate herself creatively.
