It's the end of an era for one of South Africa's much loved and longest running publications, True Love Magazine. After five decades in the media industry, serving readers with monthly glamorous cover stars and real stories, True Love magazine is shutting down. According to reports, the final issue will be the January 2027 issue. True Love served as inspiration for many black women who loved fashion, beauty, celebrity culture and a bit of drama. The countries biggest stars such as Bonang Matheba, Zonke, Connie Ferguson, Makhadzi and many more all graced the cover of True Love over the years. While the magazine culture is dying out, it will be interesting to see if True Love will transition to an online publication or close down altogether. Image: True Love Magazine
