Springboks rugby player Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu and social media personality Sarah Langa have officially gone public with their relationship. Amidst the cheating allegations and public scrutiny of their romantic relationship because of the age gap, the pair have decided to finally stop hiding and go public. They recently spoke to GQ magazine about their relationship, how it all started and the age gap. The two met for the first time at a Christmas Eve dinner and were introduced by mutual friends and Sacha's brother Nathan. “I didn't really know anything about Sarah prior to the dinner, so everything was new to me,” recalls Sacha. “I just kind of saw a confident, intelligent and intellectual lady” “I wouldn't say it was 100% love at first sight, because we didn't even get the opportunity to connect properly at the table. But we then saw each other every day after that. Our relationship started strengthening.” Fans were stunned to learn that it was Sarah who made the first move on Sacha. Sarah knew Sacha's older brother Nathan from her time living in the UK and she reached out to him when curious about Sacha. “I actually sent his brother, Nathan, a DM once. And I was like, ‘Oh, actually your brother's kind of cute. Like, what is he saying?’ When the introduction finally happened, it was Sacha's presence that caught her attention. “I was just like, what a great guy. So charismatic, such an incredible smile. He was just so good with everyone, like with the staff at the restaurant. He was so present, engaging with everyone, even with me, who he didn't really know.” There was another detail Sarah remembers: the group had planned to go out for drinks after dinner, but Sacha declined. It was game week, and his rugby commitments came first. “I was trying to convince him to go out, and he just wasn't having it. I was like, this guy is definitely never going to be into me. How can I not convince him to go out?” she laughs. That night, however, Sacha sent her a Christmas message. “He sent me a message like, ‘Merry Christmas.’ And I was like, okay, maybe actually I do kind of have an in, because why would he be the first person to send me a Christmas message?” What she initially interpreted as a possible sign of interest soon became something she understood differently: a glimpse of his discipline. “It wasn't like a sign of rejection. It was just him showing me that his work comes first, and it's a non-negotiable. He never compromises the dedication and commitment that he has towards his work.” In the days that followed, the two began spending more time together. Sarah's description of that early period is uncomplicated: “We were literally inseparable.” Fans are still not convinced that Sacha is as invested in the relationship as Sarah is.
