Police allege that he confronted an e-hailing driver in Edenvale, accusing him of having a relationship with his girlfriend. He forced him into a vehicle and fired a shot in his direction. The driver escaped unharmed and reported the incident to police, leading to Maarohanye's arrest. While Maarohanye was expected to make his first court appearance on Monday, police have now confirmed that he will only be in the dock on Wednesday.
