The search is over, and the new Top Billing presenter is Homba Mazaleni. After multiple auditions, Homba has come out victorious and will join the team of presenters on the luxury lifestyle and entertainment television magazine show, Top Billing. Homba was formally announced as the winner at an event hosted in Johannesburg. She thanked her family and the fans who supported her throughout this journey. “I am Miss Top Billing. I can’t believe my luck. What is happening?” she said while beaming with pride and joy. “I so wish my mom and dad were here just to experience what I am going through at the moment. I am beside myself. Before I get away with all these things that I’m talking about, I want to thank you guys.” It may come as a shock to many to discover that Homba was initially reluctant to enter the competition but her social media followers encouraged her. “Every single one of you guys pressured me to enter the presenter search when I felt like I was at my lowest, when I felt like I was already dished out a couple of no’s that I couldn’t take another one. But you guys believed in me,” she expressed. Image: Supplied
