South African DJ, tv presenter and businessman DJ Warras, real name Warrick Stock has passed away.

The popular entertainer was shot dead by an unknown suspect earlier today outside Carlton Centre in the Johannesburg CBD.

The motive for his alleged murder is still under investigation, however reports are circulating that he was part of a security company that took on the task of evicting illegal foreign nationals from hijacked buildings in central Johannesburg.

DJ Warras was 40 years old at his death. This is a developing story, updates to follow.
