The seven men accused of killing rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes and Tebello Motsoane have recently been transferred to the high maximum security prison Ebhongweni (C-max) in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal. This is one of the most secure prisons in the world.

According to EWN, sources claimed that two of the accused brothers Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande who are currently appearing in court have asked to be moved to Gauteng to be closer to their attorneys for better communication.

It remains unclear why the accused were taken to the prison but it’s used to keep inmates and convicted criminals that are considered highly dangerous, some of those kept there include accused in the Lusikisiki massacre, Vusi ‘Cat’ Matlala and other dangerous convicted criminals. This is the same prison that Ananias Mathe was kept before he allegedly committed suicide.
