Mental health awareness week
Mental health awareness week is a reminder for us to take a step back & put our mental clarity first. There are a few ways that I recharge that always gets me back on track but the best way to keep everything in check is to monitor & course correct before you get completely burnt out. Things that make a difference for me is monitoring the information I consume. I make sure that I make time for reading (even if it’s short) or listening to podcasts with inspirational messages. The next thing is to just write down what I’m feeling to have it on paper. It doesn’t matter if it’s good or bad feelings - just getting it down on paper makes a huge difference in processing those feelings. Another thing is trying to get sunlight as often as I can even if it means for 10 minutes. Spending time with loved ones is also always a way to get you out of your head and in the moment. Lastly, taking time for the things you enjoy and making it a priority. This does not have to be all consuming. A few dedicated minutes a week is all you need. Doing little things to prioritising yourself always helps to uplift your spirits.
